META 2016

META is back in 2016 with a renewed sense of dedication to Theatre. Celebrating excellence in theatre and stage craft, the Mahindra Group proudly presents the eleventh edition of the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META). To be held between 5   10 March 2016 these awards recognise and reward all  spects of theatre production and stage craft. META is one of the Indian theatre industry spremier awards that reflect the best of performing theatre and theatre-makers.

META, the most comprehensive theatre awards in the country, provides a concrete  platform to celebrate and  promote theatre s varied elements like playwriting, set design, costume and light design, direction and performance. 2016 will see, as always, an array of diverse forms of theatre in English, Hindi and regional Indian languages. The themes are far- reaching and will appeal to all tastes.

Audiences will witness the best the year has to offer with plays selected from the 4 corners of the country.
