The play explores the last day of Krishna’s life, set after the events of the Kurukshetra battle and Lord Balarama’s death. Alone in a forest, Krishna reflects on his life, not as a god but as a man. He confronts his past actions, including his relationships, political ambitions, and moral choices, and questions the true meaning of his existence. Desiring to cast aside his divine identity, he grapples with the inevitability of his fate and the conflict between his human desires and his godly essence.

Krishna, I am trying to explore this historical, dimensional, and versatile character from an anti-romantic point of view. The play is concerned about the conflicts between his godly image, his diplomatic karmas, and his personal woe and wishes, pain and perish as a mortal man. Here he is not God, rather he is human; being of flesh and blood; playhouse of ‘Shada Ripu’. He cries, crawls, screams, views himself as a loser, which is directly against his own utterance: “Maa Phaleshu Kadachana...”. I am grateful to Sh. Bankim Ch. Chattopadhyay, Nabin Ch. Sen, Gourchandra Saha, Rabindranath Thakur, and Sh. Nrisinhaprasad Bhaduri, who have had deep influences on me for the plan of constructing this production.
