Agni Suta Draupadi delves into the depths of Draupadi's psyche, portraying the epic Mahabharata through her lens. The narrative unfolds in two parts, offering Draupadi's perspective before and during the war. This interpretation is not a retelling of the Mahabharata but a unique exploration of Draupadi's journey. The design and choreography of the play are crafted to reflect Draupadi's emotions and struggles. The female gaze dominates the portrayal of the war, highlighting the strength and resilience of women in the face of adversity. As we present Agni Suta Draupadi, we invite you to witness Draupadi's story with fresh eyes, challenging conventional narratives and celebrating the complexity of female characters in mythology.
