About Neel Chaudhari

Neel Chaudhari, a writer and theatre director based in New Delhi, is a founder member of The Tadpole Repertory.He was the Artistic Director of The First City Theatre Foundation (2007-09) where he wrote and directed his first five plays. He is also a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab in New York, and PLUTO, a collective of international theatre directors.

About The Tadpole Repertory

THE TADPOLE REPERTORY is a Delhi-based theatre collective of actors, writers, musicians and designers dedicated to presenting original writing and devised performances on compelling and contemporary subjects. Tadpole's productions include Taramandal, winner of the Hindu MetroPlus Playwright Award in 2010; currently they are producing Quicksand, Rakshas - an adaptation of Yevgeny Schwartz's The Dragon, and PlastiCity, a play for children and adults. The Repertory also conducts regular theatre workshops through The Looking Glass Project.

About Anurupa Roy

Puppeteer, puppet-theatre director, puppet-designer and multiple-awardee Anurupa Roy is Founder and Managing Trustee of The Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust, a puppet-theatre group based in Delhi since 1998. She has a diploma in puppet theatre from Dramatiska Institutet, University of Stockholm, and has been trained in traditional glove puppetry from La Scoula Della Guaratelle, Naples, Italy. She has been guest faculty for World Arts and Cultures at UCLA. She has directed over 25 puppet performances for Katkatha, TIE Company, and the National School of Drama.

About Katkatha

The Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust is a Delhi-based puppet theatre company, begun in 1998 and creating a rigorous training system for puppeteers. Katkatha conducts intensive short courses and workshops in puppet techniques, supports interns who learn by following the work of the company.

About Ragini Singh Khushwaha

Ragini, who has an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths College, London, is an arts manager and performance-maker and currently heads Drama School Mumbai as Programme Head. Recently she was part of an international fellowship with ARThink South Asia, training as a future leader in the arts and culture sector. Her last interdisciplinary performance piece titled Don't f*** with my Unicorn was performed in London and was selected as a finalist for the Annual Rich Mix festival. Her documentary, Engayging Lives, portraying queer lives in Mumbai, was shortlisted for the IRIS prize.

About Sanyukta Saha

Sanyukta, a Delhi-based applied theatre-practitioner, has more than a decade of experience spanning rural and urban India and briefly the UK. She believes that the experience of watching theatre, the opportunity to practise theatre, and the possibility of becoming a theatre-practitioner should be accessible to every child and young person, irrespective of their socio-economic context. Since 2015, she has been a part of the community at Aagaaz Theatre Trust as the Founder and Artistic Director.

About Aagaaz

Aagaaz is an arts-based organisation dedicated to creating inclusive learning spaces that nurture curiosity and critical thought while creating safe spaces for dialogue, in an attempt to weave a more equitable urban fabric. Engaging children and young adults across social and geographical boundaries, Aagaaz relentlessly questions 'what is' to probe 'what could and should be' to learn ways to act and perform beyond just the stage. At the core are 13 adolescents from Hazrat Nizamuddin Basti who are growing into arts practitioners, theatre-makers, and facilitators.

About Neel Sengupta

Neel Sengupta is a director, actor and educator, who has been working with young adults in the field of drama for the last 9 years. An alumnus of The Players, Kirori Mal College, he is a recipient of the Tendulkar-Dubey Fellowship 2019 for Excellence in Theatre. Neel has been primarily working with the Tadpole Repertory, Delhi, as a resident director/actor and with the Indian Ensemble, Bangalore, and Bhasha Centre as a collaborator in various directorial roles. He currently teaches drama at the Shiv Nadar School, Noida.

About Rahul Tewari

Rahul Tewari is a freelance theatre and actor based in Delhi most known for his work in the recent Bollywood film Badhaai Ho and the musical rendition of the critically-acclaimed film Monsoon Wedding by Mira Nair. He currently runs a theatre company called Third Space Collective in Delhi and is a drama facilitator at Shiv Nadar School, Noida.

About Dhwani Vij

Dhwani Vij is a theatre director/performer/educator, based in Delhi, who teaches drama to IGCSE students at Step by Step School, Noida. She is one of the founding members of the Delhi-based drama group, Third Space Collective. Her practice is rooted in creating performances that question the world they inhabit.

About Third Space Collective

Third Space Collective (TSC) is a group of theatre-practitioners creating theatre which is of relevance to the times that we live in. The Collective aims to put different art forms, ideas and people together. The group is also involved in facilitating workshops, curating performance laboratories, producing work for other groups and of course, creating performances. Their running productions include Love, Prufrock, a physical theatre piece derived from T.S. Eliot’s Poem ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’ (official selection at the Serendipity Festival, Goa, 2018 & Old World International Theatre Festival, Delhi, 2017); Dastaan-e-Bhookh, an adaptation of Sam Shepard's Curse of the Starving Class (winner of 6 Thespo Awards at Thespo 15).

About Drama School Mumbai

Started in 2013, the Drama School Mumbai exists to be a centre of excellence in the teaching of the theatrical arts, and through training and advocacy, act as an ecosystem-builder for the theatrical sector. Its flagship course is the one-year programme in Acting and Theatre-Making, taught by a faculty of 30+ highly qualified active theatre practitioners, with degrees from across the world. DSM has graduated 70 alumni who are all active in theatre and its related fields.
